What is Morzinobot?
Morzinobot is Morzino's web crawling bot. It is used to add pages to the Morzino search index and to collect free information, media and data.
Morzinobot is fully automated, computer software determines which sites, URLs or files to access.
Morzino.com respects copyrights, Morzinobot will not collect e-mail addresses and it will respect the directives in robots.txt.
Morzinobot is a friendly robot, which means that it will only download very few pages or files per minute from a single site.
Verifying Morzinobot
The easiest way to see that Morzinobot visited your website is to check your logfiles for the following User Agent:
- Morzinobot/1.0 (+http://morzino.com/support/bot/)
For the moment Morzinobot will always access your site using an IP address from one of the following IP ranges:
One some rare occasions you might also see Morzinobot using a different IP address, this may occur when we're testing new stuff, new networks or new servers.
In such cases there should only be very few accesses, otherwise you should consider this to be some other bot claiming to be Morzinobot.
